I am an amateur sound recordist (a "phonographer," which is like a photographer, only with sound instead of images). I enjoy hearing stories, and want to work on oral histories. I can come to you and set up a schedule to record your stories. I can then edit that recording and provide you with a physical copy, either CD or DVD, that you can share with your family and friends... or keep it somewhere safe for posterity.
We would schedule 2-3 recording sessions, usually lasting 1-2 hours. I prefer weekday daytime hours, mostly because I am stingy regarding time spent away from my family! But, I can be flexible if necessary. I live in Catonsville, but am willing to travel up to an hour from 21228.
