The light in my bathroom makes a hissing noise when I turn it on. That scares me, so I never turn it on! I think the wiring needs to be replaced. The wiring is not very old and there is a "regular" looking fuse box. If you have experience with electrical work, I don't think it will be that big of a job. I hope you can help because it is not fun using the bathroom in the dark! ha ha
