If you can’t tell from my name, I’m Chinese-American and I grew up around a lot of people of color.
Too often if you are a minority or first generation college student (or graduate student) the only people you can turn to for advice have a vested interest in you doing something not in your best interests (eg. Asking the college recruiter or college prof for advice).
If you’re stuck reach out and we can determine what’s the best path for you (with the least amount of debt and greatest smart chance of success for you).
I’ve already mentored a dozen college students/ grad students (almost all of whom are employed in their field) and dissuaded an equal number of would be grad students (who would have gone on to rack up grad school debt for no good reason).
